It was a rainy day. The weather was just not looking good for the family photos we had scheduled. But then, at the end, the sun started to peek out. And rather than reschedule their family session, mom Julie brings their rain boots and we had so much fun! Who doesn’t love jumping in a beautiful summer puddle?

I very much enjoy when the K family comes to visit me for their West Bend Family Portraits. It’s so wonderful to see these little girls growing up. They are both full of smiles and hilarious expressions. I hope you enjoy the photos!
I have been extremely fortunate to now have photographed three Wisconsin Barn Weddings at this amazing place in West Bend. Micayla & Jake’s wedding was ridiculously amazing. It was a brunch wedding. Can we just pause on that fact for a moment… brunch… and a wedding. It’s brilliant. Gosh I hope that trends catches on because it was amazing. A gorgeous morning filled with portraits, a beautiful outdoor ceremony, and a brunch reception like I’ve never seen before. This reception had beautiful antique chairs, mimosas, donuts, yogurt parfaits, and SO much more. The best part was, everyone was so happy for Micayla & Jake and the pure joy spread through the barn.
Congratulations you two, I wish you nothing but pure happiness!
